The compilation of my experiences provide the fabrication for my art.

I currently reside in London where I am influenced by the antiquity around me, while observing how this ancient framework fuses with the modern architecture and ideology of the 21st century.

I began my art education as an undergraduate at Boston College. Upon graduation I worked in Boston, New York and southern California in the fashion industry. I continued my studies in art history and oil painting, while in New York and a move to Chicago in 2003 provided me with further art training at the historic Palette and Chisel Art Academy. While at the P&C I studied with master artists David Leffel, Steven Assael and others. I am inspired by the techniques of the Dutch masters and the dynamic paint application and alla prima style of the impressionists. I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge as a teacher to other art students in art leagues around Chicago.

I am a proud member of The Oil Painters of America, and my paintings can be found in many private collections around the United States.
