After a successful career as a New York City fashion executive, Amy went on to study oil painting at Chicago’s Palette and Chisel Art Academy under esteemed artists Steven Assael, Diane Rath, and Michael Van Zeyl. Utilizing both classic and modern methods, Amy’s work combines her keen understanding of shape, color and texture resulting in dynamic paintings in both realistic and abstract form. Amy earned her MFA at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, graduating with distinction, and has lead classes and workshops in both the USA and Europe covering many topics of art historical theory as well as practical painting methods. She currently divides her time between London and The United States.
